Our Little Miracle

On the 3rd of May 2007, our little girl, Taia Maria Botha, was born into the world!

We went to Tracy's doctor yesterday and he told us that baby will probably be born in 4 days!
Can't wait to meet our little Angel! Tracy is getting more and more tired, and baby is moving more now too.
Keep Tracy in your prayers. Here come the sleepless nights!

The Name Game

Well, with just over a week to go, our daughter is at brink of enter the world of giants! I must say that Tracy and I are a bit nervous but excited to welcome a new Spirit into the world.

There has been some difficulty in choosing names. We have been through a number of baby name books and found some beautiful names, but none of them seemed right. We thought of Andrea, but we were looking for a soft name.

We found a Hebrew name, Taylia, which interpreted, means "Gentle Dew form Heaven", but decided to shorten it into "Taia". This name seems to have stuck with us and feels right.

Tracy has this thing for middle names, so we thought of "Taia Maria Botha", Maria after Tracy's mom.

However, we will still wait until baby is born and decide then. We want to have a list before-hand to help us finally decide, after all, she will have this name for the rest of her life!
